We respect and protect your privacy. As a local AI tool, ShiGuang has the following characteristics:

• Zero Data Collection: The app itself does not collect any personal information, usage statistics, or diagnostic data
• Zero Network Communication: The app does not communicate with any external servers during operation (except for user-initiated actions like opening web links)
• Local AI Inference: All image embedding, similarity computation, and reranking are performed using your device's local GPU/CPU
• Local Storage: Image indexes, vector data, and configuration files are all saved in your local file system

2. Steam Platform Data

When you purchase, download, and use this app through Steam, Valve Corporation may collect data according to its own privacy policy. This data is managed by Valve and is independent of this app, including but not limited to:

• Purchase and payment records
• App usage duration statistics
• Steam client device information
• Achievement unlock records (if applicable)

3. Local Data Storage

The app stores data in your application directory, including:

• Image library index and metadata
• AI vector index for image search
• Thumbnail cache for fast browsing
• User configuration and preferences
• Search history (can be cleared in-app)

This data is entirely under your control. You can clear it via the in-app "Reset" function or manually delete the corresponding directory.

4. System Permissions

The app requests the following system permissions solely for functionality, with no data transmission involved:

• File Access: Read image folders you select and write index/config files
• Clipboard Access: Used for the "Copy Image" feature
• GPU Access: Optional, for AI inference acceleration via Vulkan

The app does not request network access, camera, microphone, location, or other sensitive permissions.

5. Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the app does not collect any user data at all, it is equally safe for children to use. If parents have any concerns, they can uninstall the app and delete local data directly.

6. Policy Updates

We may update this privacy policy. For significant changes, we will notify users through in-app announcements or Steam community announcements.
